TALISAY (6) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by one length over 1000m at this track. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Winning rider Giovanni Ferreira Santos stays aboard and he can go on with it. POISSY (8) is a six-start maiden who has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when third over 1400m at this track. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Best figures should see him run well. PERITO MORENO (9) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1300m at this track when third, beaten 9 lengths. Likely improver so another top-three finish is on the cards. POCKET BRAVERY (1) is a three-year-old colt on debut. From an elite family that includes black type success, being by Hofburg from Breezy Hot. Should get all the favours from this good gate and is certainly worth considering.
