PEE BEE GIRL (10) is a locally trained mare with ability, and she was sixth as a warm favourite at Otaki 4 weeks ago when following on from her debut second here in March. A wide gate won't help, but she is still good enough to take this out. KIT ZAKAT (7) is edging towards her first win after being beaten by a nose at Whanganui 3 weeks ago as the favourite. She has a draw advantage over the top pick, and early on in the day, an inside gate can be an advantage. Stick with her. PRINCE OF DIAMONDS (2) hit the line powerfully on debut at Hawera, and only missed out on winning by a head. He is likely to get back again from a wide gate, but if he treks into it on the corner, then he can have the last say this time. SUNNY (4) is getting fitter, and he has some top 4 claims again, and TERRIFIC GUY (5) is on debut with the in-form Amber Riddell in the saddle.
