KOMITO should've gone close to winning first go. He looks suited to 1700m 2nd go but wasn't sure how it would pan out from that wide draw. MOLESWORTH had every possible when a long 4th 1st go. It was a much stronger maiden than this so he's in the mix. ZETHEROS and COSMIC clashed here last time in one of these. Honours to the latter, but there's not a great deal between them. ABBY'S CROSSWORD deserves a win but 1700m does remain a query. HIS LADY BAY is ready to win but drawn 14 of 14 no shock if they find another race. ON THE BRINK laboured first go on a soft 7 when seemingly fancied. No shock if she's a big improver dry.
