BROTHER QUICKIE kicks off his 3rd campaign on the home track. He placed 1st up last prep over 1400m. Trucking through inside on the rail from midfield, he might place again 1st up. CITY WOK ran well last time when he saw a good track for the first time. Wish he drew better. HELLACIOUS has to improve but he could with that 1300m run under his belt when 5 weeks between starts. HUGHIE'S SPIRIT makes it to start 28 which is hardly appealing. Taking this prep in isolation, his dry track form is good and maybe back to 1200m is good for him. SIRLEAF has been a disappointment when you look at what the market expected early doors from him. Terang last time was ok. Drawn 13 of 13 isn't ideal. ANTALIAN was well backed at Werribee and almost delivered. She gets her chance. CHAMPAGNE EXPRESS strips fitter for two runs back. Race shape was against last time. Like her back to 1200m. The new comer OTTELIA has jumped out well enough to consider in just an even maiden. No trials or jump outs found for RACEY CASEY which is not unusual for the stable. The wide draw is not ideal but she is more than good enough if wound up. Betting?
