State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).
Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 4-6-3-1
Track rated soft 6 at time of acceptances and with more rain forecast leading up to the meeting, we could be in for worse conditions. EMPIRE RULER has finished in the placings in all four runs since joining the Luke O'Connor stable. He gives every indication that the longer trip will suit. RICH MELODY was taken on in front at Gawler last time and boxed on okay to finish third. CHILLY BRO was found to be lame after finishing down the track at Gawler. He ran well over this trip at Murray Bridge the start prior. ATEYATE steps up to a more suitable trip here at his second run back from a spell.
