BIG BRUTE worked to the line well to place over 1100m at Oakbank when resuming. The extra 100m is a plus and this race isn't any harder. MEG'S MAGIC had few favours and did well to finish just behind the placegetters at Gawler last time. FASHION DOG got the money here when first-up last month. His latest effort in town was quite okay. IMMORTAL SHIELD was runner-up to Grinzinger Ace this route last start. HARBOUR CITY and LAPILLI have claims while it might pay to watch market moves for both IRONBAR (ex Hannah Bryce) and ENCIPHERING (formerly trained by Mick Huxtable).

About Strathalbyn Racecourse
Strathalbyn Racecourse is located 40 minutes from Adelaide. It is operated by the Strathalbyn Racing Club, which was formed in 1922. The track hosts around a dozen race meetings every year, with feature race days scheduled in January, April, May and November. The Strathalbyn Cup is held in January and is run over 2050 metres.
