We finish as we started, over the 1600m. Pace provided by 4, 7, 8 and 10. AVONVIEW creeps back again in trip but last start was the best the horse has gone since joining this stable and he has options to be stalking a little closer today. SPIRIT ANGEL may need some luck from her wide draw but this is within her capabilities. Her record at the mile is quite consistent. HEY BELLA also drawn deep but was very good fresh and is already a winner over the mile. DIAMANDA won three in a row at the picnics then measured up well in better grade last start (further). The old girl is hard to rule right out then.
