CHAMPAGNE EXPRESS draws differently and can hopefully use her gate to be setting up in the first handful. Clearly on what she has shown overall she should be going close in something like this. This prep hasn't gone too well for SHAHAR but we would expect she is somewhere in single figures again, given one more chance by punters? SNAKEINTHEGRASS (also in at Kilmore Friday) has had four jumpouts overall, three since late December. The latest two (4th and 3rd) have been on the sound side and she does draw to see every chance. DEPUTY JOHN STONE has had four jumpouts, two last Sept./October and two recently. He beat a couple of others at Mornington on Jan 14 (leading) and again went forward at Caulfield on Jan 29 but was a battling 5th there (beaten about 3L). Could at least go forward here.
