Stony Creek hosts Victoria's only Sunday meeting this week and conditions loom as ideal. Mid 20s expected and only a gentle breeze. We get things going on the racetrack with a mile Maiden. Newcomer HELPING HANDS is here on debut and will have a few fans after winning his latest jumpout, over 1050m at Mornington on Feb 4. Took a trail midfield there and then let down to have last crack in the straight. He seems to have a little turn of foot which will count in his favour for sure. Jye McNeil booked and most of these have had plenty of chances so he looks a good place to start. SNOBBERY was in the market but only fair on debut. Stays at the mile and draws to settle well back again. STYLE GUIDE lame last start so we can look past that one to see her runner-up twice over this distance.
