GEESEVEN's upside is very appealing in a race like this. The debutante who held him at bay 1st up has run well since in a strong BM66. GEESEVEN put up a good chase to get the dead heat last time on a heavy track. He looks suited to 1600m now. If KEEP IT REAL can run a strong 1600m then he should go close. He comes through some strong 3yo races with solid performances. Like TORN getting back on to wet ground. He had tempo against last time. His form is strong for this grade. The Wagga Cup was too strong for WINGS OF CARMEN. She ran over the line with TORN prior. Unsure about HARMONY on a wet track but she is good enough on best efforts. Doubt leading suited last start. VERIFIER struggles to win but his return was sound and he is usually running on.
