FROSTRATION is flying on wet tracks and comes in well with the claim to get to bottom on the weights. Sat wide last start then was pushed into race early, but still came right away for a three-peat. CROSSOVER KID returned with a sharp second first up on the Ballarat Synthetic. Stuck on well along inside when winner out wide cut him back late. Placed in 3 of four runs second up. Drops back in class here and has solid wet track profile. KISS MY ROCK was tough in a two horse war last start, wide margin to third. Schooling, and had been hit in eye with a clod previous start according to trainer so take win on face value. ANNOTATE has improved in two starts this preparation. Solid last start when wide without cover most of race, lost a shoe and was up 300m second-up. KIW JENNI settled back in an on-pace top four finish, but liked how she picked up late coming off 8 weeks break. Will improve.
