Although he's been costly for punters so far, there's no knock on BLUE SHIELD in this race. He's finished 2nd his past three now in strong races. Suspect a smart one beat him last time while he put a gap on the rest of them. DIAMOND EYE was good and luckless 1st up at Sale. 1200m is going to suit and she should settle up closer this time. MONOLITHIC got a better run in transit 2nd go and battled away well. The winner of that race looks smart. He was a $21 chance there but the placing was not unexpected as he had jumped out well. Conveniently, HERE'S MATILDA jumped out with GALACTIC GIRL for her latest. They ran over the line together and would have a slight leaning to HERE'S MATILDA. GALACTIC GIRL was only even at Echuca with every hope but in fairness it was a H10. MYSTIC RAPTURE has jumped out ok for her return. She's had her chances but some of her placings are around city class horses. She's got a place chance.
