HONOUR ROLL (2) looked all over the winner until late when a beaten favourite in the Castletown Stakes at Otaki just over 5 weeks ago. Stick with him. SONAR (3) finished in line with the second pick in the same race last time out, and he was a nose winner on debut before that at Te Aroha. He has a good draw, and can figure in the top 3 in this. STATE OF VALOUR (4) resumes from a spell after putting in some big runs as a juvenile in hot fields, including a third at G1 level. He has had a couple of tune-up trials, and despite a wide gate, he is up to winning this. SHE'S NO SAINT (6) followed up her game win at Ellerslie with a demolition job here 2 weeks ago. She carries the same weight, and she can measure up in this as well.
