STARZINTHEIREYES has started progressively shorter at every start in Australia but in this field you would be surprised to see him shy of $2.45, even with McDonald getting on for the first time. Dare say he's the sensible favourite though, as fitness is added and gun run looms as very likely. PINHOLE though the same race and also presents fitter (though he too was off just a little freshen up rather than a long spell). MUKHTALIF was beaten at a short quote two weeks ago but I think we can trust that he's still on the up, at least to some extent. BEAR ON THE LOOSE off two 1200m trials. In the mix for sure.
