There's just no knock I can come up with for GUEST HOUSE. His San Domenico return was above expectations for mine and any though of this particular Slipper winner not going on with things as a 3YO was immediately put to bed. Yes, he's now 1100 to 1400m first time but the barrier can see him in a nice trailing position around midfield and he has the proven quality to keep winning. Five of the latest seven Golden Rose winners have come through the Run to the Rose and it provides most of this field (9 of the 13). So we look to WARWOVEN and ST GOTTHARD as real threats, particularly given they are likely to set up top five in running.
