EXPRESS COUP (3) has been a quality winter performer for a long time, and her record on this track is terrific with 3 wins. She is nicely placed at the weights for a race like this, and she goes on top for us. MARTELL (1) has been beaten in both of his starts this prep, despite some heavy market support. His trainer has been happy with him, and he will have this gelding spot on third up from a spell. Expect a big form reversal in this. ROCHELLO (4) has been racing consistently in similar fields this year, and she showed a lot of grit to hold onto second place last start when racing outside the leader all the way. Stick with her. PENVOSE LAD (2) ended his last prep on a winning note, and he will be even stronger now. He usually takes a run to get ready, but if the tempo is strong, then he will be finishing all over the top of them. Watch for him late. MONAGHAN BOY (6) dropped back to this trip and proved to be too strong in a lesser field 11 days ago. Don't risk him.
