We're back to our best business with this meeting signalling the transition to spring. Out surface was rated Soft 7 midweek and we can expect a minor shower (1-5mm) on Friday so that could quell any potential improvement. I still fancy we can be a 6 or a 5 on the day but time will tell about that. The rail is in the true position. 18 + 2 in the 1200m Midway that starts the day. Pace from 1, 3, 8, 12 and 13. FERINZO had a faultless preparation last time around, and did it off a very long break. He has come back trialing like he can keep the winning sequence going, winning the latest at Rosehill with Tim Clark aboard.
