BONIFACE comes to the race hard fit and off a defeat that was frankly a little distressing to watch. There is very (VERY!) little doubt he should have won last start and with a clear passage here he ought to be able to put that right. THEBUDGIESMUGLA short of his pet trip of 2400m but he is a respectable galloper in any situation so I'm respecting him to a healthy extent. If you didn't buy into MATUSALEM after that great return run at $201 then last start was further proof he is set for a winning prep.
