QUEEN BEIRA ran quick time to win here over 1600m last start and seems suited from wide barriers. MILITARY BASE had to ease off heels at crucial time in the straight last start and lost all momentum. Liked the way he picked up again when clear. ISDELL will get a nice run from a low draw. Won 5 of 10 starts on synthetic, with three of them here. OSHIMA adapted the a big 400m jump up to the 1600m at only his second start when leading throughout here. Open to improvment. OUTSIDE THE SQUARE had no difficulty winning here in synthetic debut.
