Given decent hit out Caulfield trials when second to Group2 placed I'm Aria. ARTISON ran very well here when resuming. Winner had trialled impressively and looked good running fast time. COSMIC SHOWER ran them along hard when resuming here over 1200m and was run down late by very heavily backed debutant. Met trouble at start last time, got keen and still finished of strongly. Ran best last 400m of the whole meeting. MAHRAJAN looked much better here on the synthetic and ran it hard up front. Stuck on well. KUNG FU PANDA seemed to relish the synthetic here when streeting rivals over 750m. GANGLAND has a tough barrier to negotiate, but has the right rider to handle it. Up on the pace in trial and too strong for Daily Reward who went around $2.00 favourite when resuming. CRUDENS TYCOON sat back and came with a strong run late to just miss in Cranbourne synthetic jump out. VELLA LONGA went well on debut on Heavy9 track, but had won two jumpouts on the Cranbourne synthetic.
