CREUSA has the foundation of two runs over 2000 and 2200m so fitness levels will be excellent. Latest was a placing here at the trip when trying the synthetic for the first time and was also able to be more prominent in the run. Think she will improve again. CRYSTAL JADE jumps sharply in distance, but has raced like extra distance would aid him. Thought he was going well here last start when stopped in tracks in the straight so completely forgive the beaten margin. POOR OL' JOHNNY RAY is super fit, and coming back from 2400m to 2200m should suit. He was exposed early in that last start at Werribee and might be suited by the momentum racing style of synthetic tracks. IT'S A GIVEN will be better for a first run on the synthetic track here. Restrained back early and it was an on-pace controlled race.
