SHARES made good ground here over 1200m on debut and looks a natural to be suited by the extra 200m. Drove home hard once able to clear traffic and balanced up. Winner of that race likely to improve beyond maiden class. Much better served by the barrier this time and looked a bit raw so raceday experience will bring him on. SOUNDWAVE will be better for two runs from a break. Will go back from the wide barrier, but was running on strongly at end of a fast run 1200m so rise to 1400m appeals. DONATO was away much faster last start and held a forward position here over 1200m. Easily the best on-pacer in a big run on event. TEARS OF HAPPINESS is a market watch horse - never seen a dry track on raceday or synthetic. Raced like 1400m would be more suitable trip and blinkers first time a good sign of intent. ROXOLANI makes debut here, but led throughout to win a small Cranbourne synthetic 1355m jump out without being pressured. CIRCUS LIGHTS (3rd em) ran well on debut at 1300m
