HIT SQUAD has placed on both runs on synthetic track at Kempton Park in England which gives him the edge on many rivals who haven't raced on an all weather track before. Not much went right in Australian debut at Kilmore over this trip when ended up in front and too keen, leaving him vulnerable at the finish after a decent spell. Plan was to be midfield, but probably doesn't need to go back that far with a moderate gallop predicted. Plenty of chances behind him. JEZEBEL JENNI has improved with every run as she increases in distance and finds firmer going. Blinkers come off for her first go at 1600m and should switch off from nice barrier. POLAR PERSPECTIVE sat wide without cover on debut at 1600m and thought she battled on pretty well given the pressure before straightening up. Synthetic tracks tend to be more about momentun than acceleration so fits the profile. L Nolen is a positive. CRYSTAL JADE should be at peak fitness with the last start run over 1600m under his belt. Challenging draw. TENNESSEETWOPIECE and DR DAVINCI racing well.
