DARK VADOR rarely runs a bad race and is a two-time winner over this trip. Strips fitter here and can get back onto the winners? list, although he may need a touch of luck from the wide draw. HOUSE OF CARDS drops back in grade and rises in trip, which looks the ideal set-up. Should settle midfield and be strong late. THROTTLE RESPONSE is an interesting runner. Generally performs best over further, and while the Waller camp has dropped him back in trip after a disappointing run at Canterbury over 1900m, he clearly has ability, with the distance the main query. OAKFIELD MAMSELLE strips fitter second up and draws the inside gate, and an improved performance is expected.
