This shapes as a very competitive race with a number of genuine chances. Have settled on SEASTRAAND, who resumes for his second prep after a 45-week break. Won a very competitive maiden over 1400m at Kembla before spelling and has been tuned up for this with two quiet trials. Looks progressive and more than capable here. ASILAH was well-backed on debut and the market got it right when she won with ease. Can only improve off that performance. FIRE N STONE has shown some ability, tired late last start but strips fitter here and is expected to improve. EMBRACE THE WIND and WATSON both look genuine chances in what is a strong field.
