2 and 9 are absent after racing here over the weekend. That leaves a field of seven and three on debut. DIRTY SUMMER has settled on-speed in two trials. Led the latest, ended up 2.5L 4th/9. On board in those hitouts was Deon Le Roux, who takes 4 kilos off here. HEROIC DEED has settled and finished further back in two November trials (Wyong and Gosford). SURPASSER has finished 5th in all three trials, two mid-year and one at Scone on Nov 19 in which he camped wide and wasn't knocked around. From the raced, ALL STAR has switched (from Chris Waller) and won a Hawkesbury trial (just off the lead) on Nov 17. DIRTY DOES IT looks close to breaking through in the right race, may cross outside the leader? IRRESISTIBLY was $10 but well beaten at Taree. Stablemate MEGA PIXEL could be hard to catch if he finds the lead. Bullock third time on from three.
