To the Beaumont track at Newcastle we go for this Tuesday card. We raced here on Saturday just gone and the rail was true (track started Soft 6, ended up Good 4). Conditions were also Good 4 on Monday morning and will stay that way. Perhaps a speck of precipitation on raceday morning but it won't be enough to alter anything. The rail goes out to 4 metres, 6 metres from the 800 to the 400m. A top of 22 degrees expected on the day. We get started with a 2100m Class 1. Look for 4 and 1 to roll forward in this. BLUEBIRD BAY went well two back when leading up and could try a similar approach here. Couldn't get to GOLDEN SMILE last time though (first two settling, first two home). Sound again last start when out to 1900m. BRILLIANT KNIGHT is going well but rises in distance and from Maiden class.
