STELLA MA BELLA (4) was an easy maiden winner of her penultimate start at Te Aroha, and then jumped up to contest the G2 Eight Carat Stake, which was a bridge too far at the early stage of her career. She has trialled since then, and at this level, she is the one to beat. AUTUMN GLORY (1) was heavily supported in the market when winning by a nose on debut at Ruakaka 18 days ago. She steps straight up from 1400m to 1800m at only her second ever start, and if she can win this, there will be some rich age-grade targets ahead of her. Go again. OH MAIMAI (2) just battled as the favourite on debut here, finishing third of 6, and then cruised home last time out when out to 1400m. The extra 400m is ideal, and she can repeat the dose. SINGLE RED (3) was an impressive last start winner at Te Rapa, and in a good field here, she is capable of making it 2 wins on the bounce, especially on a wet track. SWEET TALKIN GAL (5) failed to fire in G2 grade last start, but can figure in the top 4 here.
