UNODOSTRESCUATRO (1) has been in good form, finishing second by a nose at Taupo in his penultimate start, and then fighting on gamely to be runner-up by a length at Te Rapa a fortnight ago over 2100m. He has the pole position here and is nicely poised to go one better. COSMIC PURSUIT (3) got back from a wide gate before running on with purpose late to finish sixth at Te Rapa 2 weeks ago over a mile. The extra 400m is the key, and his first win is not far away. PASSION 'N' PRIDE (11) just battled here on debut and then improved sharply second up when finishing second by a head at Whanganui last time out. She will be spot on third up, and she gets out over a middle distance here. Craig Grylls sticks with her, and so do we. NED KELLY (6) has raced his way into some solid form, and he can figure in the top 3 here, especially if the track is wet. DUX (12) was not bad fresh up at Ellerslie, and she gets a nice swing in her draw this time. Stick with her over a longer trip this time.
