State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).
Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 7-10-12-6
BLUE VALENTINE has been runner-up in both runs back from a spell in stronger maidens. She certainly gets her chance to breakthrough for a win here. There were some excuses for REBEL JEN when she finished just behind the placegetters at Warrnambool first-up. PURE PELT contested a stakes race at Morphettville on debut in March. She was runner-up in a Strathalbyn jumpout last month. Don't be surprised to see her run a race fresh. STARRY ERIDANUS was placed in a trial here on September 20th. Watch market moves for him. Best of the rest look to be CALM THE PRESS and NICALOHA.
