ANDERSON BRIDGE (16) has found some good form since relocating from Sydney this season, and his last start win at Trentham was impressive when ridden a lot closer to the pace than usual. He carries 3.5kg less than last time, and he only needs some luck from a wide gate to go close to repeating the dose. NAVIGATOR (1) resumed with a big run for second in the G1 Telegraph Handicap at Trentham and then was runner-up again there 2 weeks ago. He should be ready now for the extra 300m, and he is nicely placed to go one better. ARCHAIC SMILE (7) beat the second pick in the same race when resuming, and she is still nicely treated at the weights here. A wide draw is against her, but she can still run another big race, especially if the track is wet. BASEL WARRIOR (9) was too good in a 5-horse field at Whanganui last time out, and he is chasing a hat-trick here. He has a good draw and won't be far away. HERBERT (8) struggled on a heavy track last time out, and he is worth another chance here.
