SUPER LEGOCY (2) was a deserved winner courtesy of a top ride off a wide gate from Opie Bosson at Te Rapa 15 days ago, and he won't find this any harder. Bosson sticks with him, and so do we. ATKINS (7) followed up her impressive maiden win at Ellerslie with a fast finishing third at Waverley just over 2 weeks ago. She cops a tougher gate this time, but can still have the last say. Go again. BOLLI BELLE (11) had plenty of trial experience prior to scoring an easy win on debut at Whanganui nearly 4 weeks ago. She cops a decent draw, and with a 2kg claim, she is nicely placed to repeat the dose. OUR LURRINA (12) won fresh up here by a nose, and she has the breeding to go on with the job. Her recent freshen up would have done her no harm, so don't risk her. I'LL BE HOME SOON (1) was runner-up in a stronger field than this at Trentham 4 weeks ago, and had won his maiden by a head at Tauranga before that. Each way claims again.

About Matamata Racecourse
Matamata Racecourse is located in the township of Matamata in New Zealand’s North Island. It is run by the Matamata Racing Club which also operates the extensive training facilities situated here. The club hosts around 14 race days each season. The feature race is the Matamata Breeders’ Stakes.
