SOUTH GEORGIA was plain out to 2000m last time but her two efforts over this trip prior were solid. She gets in light after the claim and should get every chance to bounce back from the kind draw. MERLIN BEACH overcame a wide run to clear maiden ranks when dropping back to this trip last time and can go on now that his confidence is up. I'M A MACHINE finished off strongly to shed his maiden tag over 1400m third up and the rise to 1600m shouldn't pose a problem. STAR PERFORMER has been good over staying trips at her past couple and should be strong when it counts.
