At the time of writing (Friday) the track is rated a soft 5 but with fine weather forecast there's the chance of an upgrade. ELEGANTLY WRITTEN appreciated the return to turf and the rise to this trip when scoring second up before closing well last time. She's nicely in at the weights after the claim and can give this a shake. SKELMORLIE was unsuited in a race controlled by the leader over 1400m fresh and is suited by the rise to the mile. MONTEZULU has been plain since hitting the line hard over this trip three back. NATIVE CLAN remains a query at 1600m but can play a minor role.
