State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).
Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 1-6-5-11
Second up run by SHAIYHAR in the Gold Nugget was better than it looks on paper; solid form for this. Better draw this time for YAHOO BAR who ran pretty well off a tough run at Bendigo. DARTBOARD has been game in the thick of things at his last two. FOX APPEAL ran honestly in the Jerilderie Cup. NINYO was back in trip when missing the start at Sandown. Rain would help her. BABY RIDER had been out of form when third in this last year. MALE MODEL got too far back last start and is up to this on his best form. LAUDING is capable of second up improvement. BRUTALRULE is up in grade but has upside.
