State-based Tote pools across Australia have been combined into a single national Tote ('One Pool'), meaning there is now only one set of Tote dividends nationwide.
This industry-wide change may affect the prices available and how some Tote bets are settled. Tote (TO) now represents the combined national Tote ('One Pool'), while Tote+ (TO+) returns the better of the Tote dividend and Starting Price (SP).
Other rules:Only final field runners subject to deductions
Selections: 4-1-3-11
ZAMORA makes his own luck on pace and was nabbed only last at the start of his last prep. EL SALTO comes in well after the claim; he has been a beaten favourite at his last two starts in better company but both runs have been good. Gear changes for THE MOUNT who is yet to miss a placing first up. FOURTYFOUR MAGNUM is up in weight (claim helps) having won at a higher level last start. STEELY HUSTLER was good when resuming with gear changes and can perform well second up. AMERICAN RUSS keeps racing well but still stuck on the one win.
