I SAID SO got further back than anticipated last start after a slow start first-up but looked sure to improve as he took off very early from the rear of the field to sit closer, but still ran strong data. Winner ran away, but has since placed at Sandown this Wednesday. TALKIN' ITALIAN defied the bias and came up the inside when winners were well off the inner section of the track. Won easily and looked to have advanced on first-up performance. Goes well here at the 1200m. COLT FORTY FIVE backs up quickly after running well from another wide barrier at Echuca. From low draw should be able to hold a closer spot on the map. HEADSTOCK looked like he was just starting to improve up the inside, but was knocked down and lost momentum. Picked up late. Worth another chance.
