This looks a wide race. PURGATORIO can go on after his very good maiden win 2nd up. He bounded in the air at the start, coming out 3-4 lengths behind them. With a great D Stackhouse ride, he travelled well through the field to defeat a couple who subsequently ran ok at Bendigo Sunday. Of course it's far too early to be labelling him a back-marker but it certainly won't hurt to see him drift back again from the outside draw. MOONRAKER ran well here last time in a quick BM66. If he copes with the rise to 1247m, he'll be tough to beat. GRIFTER won a modest maiden last time in good style. With blinkers on for the first time, he put up a great chase. SISTINE TUNNEL almost won last start in similar class. She's never far away. POWER AND THE BEAT looks good in his first prep. He's had one good jump out to prepare. INSAIN HARRY maps well and 3rd up should be getting close. CHAPADOS gave up quickly last time after finding trouble. On her first two starts, she has to be given another go. She gets blinkers. Could go on...
