FLAMENCO STAR might've been the pick of the first starters. She's had 5 jump outs since February and shown plenty. Back to Geelong, his home track, MR NATURAL has to get another go. As far as his starting price is concerned he disappointed at Moe 1st up, but visually his effort was sound. A moderately run 1000m race around Moe didn't suit. He showed on debut at Ballarat, he's going to win his share of races. CIVIC SQUARE looks a strong danger. He jumped out very nicely before his sound debut on testing ground behind a good one. He's trialled well. His stablemate FASTER LINK did not race well at Cranbourne, back in the field and between runners. He went much better here prior when up in the box seat with Bill Egan aboard. PERFECT DISMOUNT strips fitter for a fair return and gets a set of blinkers. BOUTIN and VIA THERESA are obviously open to better things this prep.
