Winner of the race was well fancied stablemate who had jumped out well, so think that form hold up. Stable rider B Melham jumps on and extra 200m looks ideal after running second best last 200m of the whole meeting. WHITEBAIT jumped out strongly at Flemington over 1000m and did it easily in front to hold off stakes-class Saganti. That is always a good lead for maiden debut. Lane a positive sign. SO ROYAL was running on very nicely late in Mornington 1000m event and liked the way the So You Think filly stretched out over the last 200m. This trip on big track looks appealing. SILKY SETH wasn't helped sitting forward in a run-on race first up. Ran a couple of solid 1400m races last preparation, including one here when contacted the running rail at the 200m and lost momentum.
