HYDROTHERMAL showed promise in short campaign last autumn. Battled on well in both starts and sure to have matured. Won Cranbourne jump out for C Williams and B Shinn rides here. CAJUN (em) was tried at stakes company in Flemington debut and did enough for her to make good appeal here. Couple of winners out of the race and winner was short in QTC Sires. ZENDARINA probably needed a bit more room earlier from 600m in debut when back on fence, but stuck to the task strongly despite the big beaten margins. Huge gaps to third and fourth. ESCADEC looks suited at the trip first up. Jumped out well at Cranbourne when runner up and first two spaced the rest. Given a nice hit out to be race ready. SPIRIDON was pretty raw in Flemington jump out and not overly tested. No suprise to see winkers go on. PRINCESS OF SOL (em) probably won't get a run, but there have been a combined 11 winners out of her last two starts.
