End the day with a 1200m BM65, twelve can run. No's 1,2,4,5,7,10,11,12,13 can each settle forward on their day. Only time will tell who has a Plan B ready to be engaged at a moments notice. SIMPLY EXCELS doesn't win out of turn but is a model of consistency, better drawn than many of the aforementioned. ANSON BAY was my best for Sunday but was scratched, was it the alley or was there an issue? That race sure panned out to suit its ilk (leader won). Here it strips fitter and again drops in class but looks challenged due to this map/draw. Be ironic if it starts and gets beat. Sets up very well for CORRUPTED, for mine the Renita Beaton trained mare is the one to beat. Last but by no means least, the Waller trained THE STARS ran a ripper fresh, the alley is the only knock here, dare say a cold ride awaits as should a podium finish.
