Post scratchings speed on paper has fallen away, the quickest of them all Angel Ladder draws the extreme outside gate, only nos.9 & 13 loom as early opposition. EARN TO BURN hasn't raced for 7 weeks however has been kept up to the mark with a recent easy trial win. He maps nicely from the good gate & does let down well when on the fresh side. SYLPH has all the right form lines from the Summer Carnival albeit still a maiden. The concern is how much start she'll give away here over the 1000m dash which on paper is too short, she'll be strong late though. AKAYSHA next best.
