Pace from nos.4, 8, 10. ABOUT TO EXPLODE is in very good form, his past couple have resulted in a win & closing second in races not run to suit. He tumbles in the weights today (6kg), meets last start winner RESTONICA 1.5kg better for a 0.8L defeat & races very well here. How fit is HATCHET? Not raced for 7 weeks without an 'official' trial he was in cracking form before the break, forgive the latest that was a dash home which didn't suit. Better placed at Doomben however he's capable of mowing them down late, betting leads?
