Late start should ensure an upgrade to good before the eight races are to be run. Kick things off with a 1000m C3 Plate where half the field are returning from a spell. No's 3,4,5,6 bring speed to the stoush. YOYO YEZY was very impressive when resuming and would appear to be the one to beat. SPIETHTACULAR has an alley to suit and claims three. Sets up well for OOHLALOUVRE. It was a recent scratching, possibly due to a wide draw, possibly due to the resuming stablemate being plunged (unsuccessfully). Possibly due to not being quite right on the day. Bottom line unless there's no support aimed its way Oohlalouvre should be finding the line. Also sets up well for the resuming ASTAPOR venturing down from Central Qld. 1st then 2nd in recent trials, looks a decent chance of paying the fuel bill.
