ITCHY HEART (3) was a beaten favourite on debut here 3 weeks ago when following on from a solid trial win on this track. He has a superior gate this time, and with the natural improvement that is expected, he will be hard to hold out. SHOWGIRL (5) makes her debut with some strong trial efforts already this season, including a win on this circuit earlier in the month. She is sure to be well found in the market. OFF THE SCALES (2) has been narrowly beaten in both of his starts to date on this course, and with that experience standing by him, he can go on to win this. IN THE VINEYARD (4) did not stretch out as expected last start, and was coughing after the run, which suggested that she may have swallowed a clump of dirt of the track which can happen on the poly surface. She can make amends, so stick with her. LASSIE (1) needed her fresh up run at Taupo, and she can improve sharply, especially from her handy gate. ROZEZINA (6) is on debut from the coveter pole position. Keep her safe.
