Handy race. MAGNETIC CHESS had a comfortable win 1st up on very heavy ground at Mt Gambier. On paper it did look like the lead was his. Expect him to go on. POWERBOUND rewarded the believers from the jump outs with a brilliant return win. He revelled through the heavy ground. Another 2kg is his challenge but given he's a 2nd up winner, loathe to knock him. JENNI INTIBA ran well here 1st up without luck. ALL BUSINESS is at least mid-week mares class when she's on song. She's had one start on the heavy and that was a metro win. From the draw, she's going to need a track where they can run on. HOTEI SENSHI looked like a good one when he won first go. Craig Williams did query the soft 6 for him at Sale so it will be interesting to see if Luke Oliver chooses to start on this testing ground. FINAL COUNTDOWN was 60 weeks between runs when 5th to POWERBOUND at Ballarat. She'll be fitter and she gets a significant weight drop. DRUNKEN SAILOR strips fitter for a sound return. Unsure about ARABIAN MYTH this wet but have to respect him with such a light weight in heavy ground.
