Eight new-comers for this 1100m maiden and all of them have jumped out well. This should be a strong form reference. Would've tipped 2yo CAPTIVARA in the previous race should connections have chosen that race. She looked good at Burrumbeet after a soft Heath trials. At this time of the year 2yos are hard to beat in these maidens. NO CONFETTI was most impressive on The Heath. That track was rated a soft 6. ROYAL DUCK was another one to stand out after a Flemington 2nd on a soft 6. STAKES gave a city race last week a miss for this. SAUVITUDE has trialled well with an impressive Grahame Begg trained debutante winner. Could go on....
