At acceptance time Thursday the track was rated a heavy 10 with more rain likely Thursday. 4yo debutante MISSION TAICHI is a trial/jump out veteran. He started his career with Joe Pride in NSW. For one starting at 1600m he's shown enough but would need a market lead. If SIGMA BOY was kicking off in a sprint you'd be giving him a chance on his latest 800m jump out win. He's certainly going to have the turn of speed to win a 1600m race. BANK HEIST is very fit and handling heavy tracks. Back to 1600m with a claim is the key. WOLFOFFITROYSTREET returned in a a strong tempo race and finished off ok. 1600m suits him and that 2kg claim is a bonus. JENNI POPPINS is racing well and she's had a nice grounding for her first attempt at 1600m. GAINSMONT has had excuses for both unplaced runs.
