O SHIN SCAT (1) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at this track with success over 1700m at Funabashi four weeks ago, getting home by a neck after being in the firing line on the turn. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. EDONO BANZAI (7) turned in a fine effort to win by 2 lengths at this track and distance last start in a nice progression on the first-up performance. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. KEN ATLAS (2) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 1500m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 4 lengths. Genki Fujimoto gets the best out of this five-year-old entire. In the right race and is one of the big hopes. TONOPAH (8) finished second at this track two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1500m at this track, finishing 10 lengths back in 11th. Nicely placed to make amends.
